Flight attendants for outsourcing

Northwest Airlines, in an effort to reduce their cost of operations, will be getting more flight attendants from Asia as it pushes to cut down the number of US senior flight attendants in Japan and Asia routes from two to one. If this pushes through, Northwest will be able to achieve a cost saving of US$195 million a year. (AZCentral) It has the potential as well of generating 2,600 foreign flight attendant jobs out of the US.
