Hard-living youth drive Philippine outsourcing
The Philippines' outsourcing industry is generating $3.6 billion dollars in 2006 revenues but executives fear employees are turning to caffeine, cigarettes and booze to deal with unsociable hours and demanding customers. (CIOL)
I feel that it is also the responsibility of the company to help ensure that their employees are not doing anything detrimental to their health and performance on the job. If the social structure isn't there yet, companies should step up.
